I made a world and many faces of kids of different races. My theme was “Let’s Make World Peace”. I chose this image because at church our pastor teaches us about peace and love. I thought people coming together from different races would be a good example of the type of peace the world needs these days. My art can impact others because being displayed at church people can see it and get the message about peace. I learned that people are interested in what kids have to say. They were asking me about the project and thought I was doing a great thing. I will take my ideas and share them with others from doing this project and I have learned how to make a difference.

"A Dove is peaceful as the word Peace is good.” I used bottle caps, paper, marbles, paint, glue, glitter, 1 bean, string, and buttons. I drew a dove holding a sign that says “ Peace is good”. So, it is flying everywhere so people can see the sign. I choose this image because doves are peaceful to world. That when people see the dove and the sign , they would see how peaceful both the dove and the words are. I loved this experience because there is too much violence in this world. So, I did this master peace to teach other people about peace. I learned what the symbol peace means and how nice/ good it is being peaceful. I would take away from this project the 3 bottle caps that I painted blue and hot glued them on the card board.

I used a paper bag handle with a part of a boarder for the A. I used some felt for the second E. I made the word PEACE because I thought that people would know what it meant because I’m trying to say exactly what I wrote. I found this experience fun and new. I learned that it’s not good enough just to know that you know what peace is, we all need to spread the word of peace to the whole world. My poster has only one word, "LIVE!" The only reason I put that is because I couldn't find a symbol representing it. The materials that I used was mostly construction paper, unused empty discs and Christmas tree ribbon decoration for the border. Making this was fun. I like crafts and especially when you could use whatever you want. I hope that at least one person would really understands the message and what I am saying. Overall this really shows peace.

My Peace Project was all about making peace in boxes. I did a puzzle piece with boxes of what makes the world a happy place: Peace, Kindness and Love. That’s what I think the world needs to make it a happy place. Peace represents everyone getting along nobody getting hurt whether it’s physically or emotionally. Kindness represents people getting along like when you see that picture that has a world and everybody holding hands. Love represents when we all appreciate what we do and when we just like each other like Michael Jackson’s song remix “We are all part of god’s great big family.”All of this just makes everyone happy and we made a bigger step to make the world happy.

My board shows people holding up a peace sign. Actually only three people are holding it and the other ones are still in position as if they are ready if the other people ever fail to support the peace sign. No matter what race, what religion, or what other beliefs we have, EVERYONE should be ready to support the “peace sign” when it needs help. We have to work TOGETHER and COOPERATE so we can have world peace, because we CAN have world peace, it just depends on us to accomplish it. I put my peace project in the store that is seen above is because it is my dad’s store. The background of my peace project is made out of cloth. The dove is made out of aluminum foil, its eye is a bead, its beak is made out of a shoe lace, and the border of the dove is made out string.

The CDs that are behind the dove are met to form a cross. The reason I put a cross was because our Lord Jesus Christ died on it and He brought peace and he died for us because He loved so much.

I want my blog post to say that peace is what can cause a change a good change in the future. In my art I put a dove on top of the word peace and the word peace created water. Then the sun was a hand and the fingers where the sun rays. I wrote the word violence and put a big x through it. In one corner I drew two holding hands from two different places. I also put a garden, around the heart I used beans to outline it, and I also put a peace sign in another corner. I used beans, artificial flowers, and yarn. The image I created was that everything is supposed to be calm like the flow of water and being in a garden. I chose this image because I want everyone to know that no matter what happens you should take things or situations calmly. The impact or influence I think I could make with my art is that people with issues can see my art and maybe they can make different choices from then on. I found this experience when I fought with my sister I then thought it wasn’t worth it and I changed how I take things. I learn that nothing is about violence we should all correct things calmly and peacefully. I would not take anything from my art. I will just leave how it is. I’m going to let it be what it wants to be.

My art symbolizes peace by saying that the world is in our hands and that people of all different colors should come together as one and make a difference. We hold hands and hold the world in our hearts to say PEACE. The materials I used for my painting is a canvas, paint, sharpie, neon beads to spell peace, yellow fabric for the corners of the canvas, and green buttons for the land on the world. I created an image of an African American hand and a Caucasian hand holding the world. I drew these peoples hands because back then in the U.S African Americans were discriminated because of their color by whites but now most people have come together like in my painting. I also put the words “peace” and “If we come together as one we can make a difference” to show how I felt about peace. I loved doing this project because I learned that we need peace among us people in the world and need to step up to make a change.

I chose this image because every time I think of peace of think of two people hold hands and holding the world. Every time I think of peace I think of people coming together as one. That is why I picked this image of peace. I think that with my image many people and children will understand that if we want to survive, have a nice life, no wars, peace, and happiness we have to come together. We have to make a change in our world and lives. We have to understand that if wars, debts, crises, and fighting keeps going on our world it is not going to get better. It is going to get worse. By my painting being at a public library children and adults are going to realize that if a 6th grader can make peace than so can they.

For my peace project I used paper, a piece of cardboard, paint markers, and gel markers. I first wanted to make a poster with only quotes on it from famous peace activists, but then decided on another design. I really did like the heart with the peace sign inside, so I decided to do that and add some quotes. I also thought it would be a good idea to use these two origami birds I had already made a while back. In the end I was pretty satisfied with my project.

I wanted my art to be free for the world to see. I actually feel like I am a famous artist. I can’t believe I actually used scraps of paper and other recycled materials to make a piece of art. I decided to say “Sharing Peace” on my art because I wanted the world to be peaceful. I wondered “If I put my art up somewhere will people actually read it and make world peace?” I tried to add cats, hearts, butterflies, doves, and a moon to show peace around the world. I learned that if you put your mind to it you can do anything. It takes one person to make a big difference. I think if everyone puts their mind and hearts to it they can do anything. They just have to try. So for anyone who is reading this if you fail to do something just get back up and keep moving forward until you get it right. So just try and I guarantee it will work. If it doesn’t work just keep trying and before you know it you will make a big difference in the world. I suggest you try and make this world a better place. Good luck on whoever gets up and tries to help your world.

For my MasterPEACE, I decided to mix peace with green. My whole poster was shades of green and white. A big peace sign made out of a paper plate and green paint, with a white dove lying in the top left corner of the plate, laid right in the middle of the poster. My peace sign was bordered by jewels of different kinds, joined together, to represent unity. Out, away from the peace sign (middle), I made four squares, which the two had a sign in them. The first one had a happy face for happiness, which was in the top left corner, and the second, a green heart, to represent love, in the bottom right corner.

For my art I used board foam, paint, and copy paper. In my art I had a dove, the Earth, and a quote that had peace meaning. I chose the dove because it demonstrates peace and because for me this bird it’s a really pretty animal. I made the earth in a looking peace sign to show that there can still be peace in the world were we live. I picked that quote because it is saying that truth that we can do little bits of goods and that it doesn’t matter how little they are those little bits of goods can still help make Earth a better place.

I used beads and poster board, i had to cut the shape of the music note and paste beads on top. I the peace signs and music notes because Joan Baez performed, and sang music about peace, my project represent that music is peace. i think that my project will influence people by showing them that there are many ways to make peace in the world and music is one of them. i enjoyed making this project because it has taught me a lot about Joan Baez and peace made throughout the world.

The Materials I used for my art piece were buttons, cardboard, and Scrapbooking Paper. I used the quote, “Live, Laugh, Love” which represents to live your life to the fullest, and to laugh through whatever happens, need it be through a rough day at work or even a tough day at school, and last but not least Love, which means love yourself, your family, your friends, or even the person who brought you great joy today. The influence or impact that I think my art will bring to someone is maybe if they are having one of those days where everything is going wrong, they can just stop and laugh and think about what they did and how my art has brought them happiness instead of anger or frustration. I found this experience very fun, and it brought me great knowledge of how my art can make a heavy impact on someone else’s life or even just their day. I will take away the joy of knowing that I made someone happy by showing them to think on the positive side instead of the negative.

Some of the material I used for my art project was real tree bark, cotton, Christmas tree pieces, scraps of paper, colored pencils, and glitter. What I used to make my art sturdy was a board I had used for a previous project. I created an image that represents peace. It is a dove that is flying around after a storm. The dove made the sun come out and shine brightly. The quote I put on my art was “Remember to play after every storm.” by Mattie Stepanek. This means that you should always find the positive side to things. I decided to create this image because I think that people look on the negative sides of things instead of the positive. I thought this was a good way of expressing my thoughts to other people in an artistic way.

For this project I used recycled construction paper and markers. I created the earth with two people shaking their hands after they made peace. I chose this image because it showed that if one person could once again reunite, anybody in the world would also be able too. I think that this would impact people because it may make them think once again if they are doing the right thing or making the right decisions. I found this experience because I once had to go through this but I learned to make right decisions by listening to my heart and what example I would be putting to my little brothers and sisters. I learned that there is nothing you can't do when you are with someone you trust. What I would most remember about this project would be the hard work I put in to it to make people change their minds about war and start thinking about peace, which is what really matters.

On my poster I decided to show one of the most simple things that we use to represent peace, a peace sign. It shows how simply you can show people how much peace matters through a simple symbol that is becoming very popular today with young teens everywhere. Our generation is very involved with things like promoting peace and going green, that it is becoming a trend. Everything on my board, including the board itself, is 100% recycled. I used an old poster board, various parts of a bottle, reused paper, and balloons. While doing this project it showed me how much of a difference I can really make by just making a simple poster being shown in my community library. I hope that everyone that sees my poster takes away a very positive message and wants to promote peace just as much as I do. Everyone just needs to remember: Peace One Day.
