Day by day, the choices we make are influenced by graphic images that bombard us, from tv and internet

to billboards and movie posters. We have been programmed to react in certain ways to certain images.

Most prevalent of all, are images of violence.

With Today Marks the Beginning, the young ladies

to give a new spin on INFLUENCE in a positive way.

My artwork was created to persuade people to bring peace to the world. I used recycled paper, old plastic flowers, recycled construction paper, old cardboard, and old magazine papers. I made a world and different foods to show that it does not matter where you are from and that you can come together to make a difference. I chose this image because I thought that it would bring people together and help them understand to make a difference in this world. I think that the impact that it has created was that it proved to the people that it does not matter what you are or where you are from, you can always make a tiny difference everyday. I found this experience to be fun and it made me feel that I was making a difference by creating this project. I learned about what a leader is really about and that a lot of famous scientist were really into making a difference.
